Catalase

Catalase

Catalase Enzyme for Hydrogen Peroxide Removal in Textile Processing

Catalase is a high-efficiency textile auxiliary formulated with bioenzymes as the active ingredient, specifically designed for hydrogen peroxide bleaching processes. It offers a modern solution to the limitations of traditional washing methods, such as low oxygen removal efficiency, excessive water usage, and inconsistent residual peroxide control.

This enzyme-based agent rapidly and precisely decomposes residual hydrogen peroxide, preventing oxidative substances from damaging dye chromophores or continuously degrading fabric fibers. As a result, it improves the cleanliness, process stability, and overall quality of bleached fabrics—ensuring optimal color fastness, color uniformity, and soft hand feel.

Catalase is widely applied in the post-treatment stage of hydrogen peroxide-bleached textiles, including cotton, linen, polyester knitted and woven fabrics, and yarns.

1. Energy Conservation & Emission Reduction

Water-Saving: Eliminates the need for high-temperature water washing after bleaching, reducing water usage by 30–50%

Energy Efficiency: Operates at ambient temperature, cutting energy consumption by up to 35%

Time-Saving: Shortens treatment duration to 10–20 minutes, compared to over 40 minutes with conventional processes

2. High Process Compatibility

Compatible with reactive dyes, acidic levelers, and textile softeners

Suitable for diverse textile processing equipment, including:

Jig dyeing machines

Overflow dyeing machines

Continuous padding dyeing systems

3. Environmental Safety

Biodegradable, non-toxic formulation

Free of APEO, formaldehyde, and heavy metals

Reduces COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) emissions by over 10%, supporting sustainable manufacturing practices
